Lloyds Bank plc Sort Code 30-97-19
Account Number 27498568
Lesson Fees: Currently £42 for a 50-minute lesson on a 1:1 basis
2. For a minimum seven-day (one week) notice of a cancellation of an online lesson, no fees are payable and no re-arrangement of the session is necessary. These terms apply to a maximum of three lessons during term-time cancellations during any one academic year (six terms.)
3. If a pupil is unable to attend their regular weekly online lesson and more than 48 hours’ notice is given but less than 7 days’ notice is given, then providing an alternative date and time can be agreed upon, that is mutually convenient to both tutor and student/parent, then no fee is payable by the parent/carer.
4. If a pupil is unable to attend their booked online lesson with more than 48 hours’ notice but less than 7 days’ notice and it is not possible to re-arrange the session, then the decision of whether a % of the payment of fees is payable, will be at the discretion of Loose Tutoring Service.
5. If a parent/carer gives 48 hours’ notice that their child cannot attend their online lesson, then 50% of fees will be payable. If they give 24 hours’ notice or less, then 100% of the fees will be payable.
6. Booking of online lessons for school holidays - Loose Tutoring Service will give a minimum of one week’s notice of the various dates and time slots that will be available for those clients wanting sessions during the school holidays. Booking will be on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no obligation for pupils to attend booked sessions during school holidays.
7. Fees are reviewed from time to time and any change will take effect from the beginning of the next academic term with at least a month’s notice given of any increase.
8. My aim is to provide the best possible tuition service. However, Loose Tutoring Service cannot be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by a pupil/student.
9. Loose Tutoring Service is not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of its tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of its teaching materials. You, the client, specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of Loose Tutoring Service.
10. All materials created in-house are copyright and must not be published or distributed without prior permission from Loose Tutoring Service.
11. A fourteen-day notice period and written confirmation is required for serving notice that a pupil no longer requires any further online lessons with Loose Tutoring Service. This is accepted on the understanding that the pupil stays on for two more paid-for lessons, after having served their notice. This gives Loose Tutoring Service a reasonable amount of time to start offering the tutoring slot elsewhere. If the pupil needs to stop online lessons straightaway, for whatever reason, a cancellation charge of £84 will be payable.
12. Payment of a slot retainer fee of £84 per lesson slot - equating to upfront payment of two lessons (£42 x 2 = £84) – is required to secure a designated weekly tutoring slot, once an offer of a certain day and time has been made and accepted. The payment of this fee will secure the offered tutoring slot. If you do then decide later not proceed, this fee will not unfortunately be refundable. Payment of the tutoring slot retainer fee must be paid to Loose Tutoring Service please via bank transfer latest by the date given by myself. Many thanks.
13. Commencing or continuing with tuition will be taken as a sign that you agree to these terms and conditions.
