Summary

We use a range of audio, visual and kinaesthetic learning styles in our teaching. We offer our pupils the support and understanding they need to gain confidence in both their skills and subject knowledge.

We assess each pupil on his or her merits, using a flexible approach that addresses a pupil's individual needs to ensure making optimum use of our time together. We always give our pupils a clear sense of what he or she can do to improve their skills and subject knowledge. We furnish them with the skills and knowledge they need in order to achieve this, giving them a real sense of achievement.

All sessions are carefully planned with specific National Curriculum learning objectives tailored to your child's individual needs and reviewed to determine the next step needed to optimise your child's learning. All sessions fully support your child's classroom learning.

A reasonable amount of homework is set that aims to consolidate and also assess the specific learning of that teaching session.
